will be granted with cash prize awards of $ 3,500 USD each.. g, Q' z+ G/ n* [2 m* I0 s p
the jury will select about 30 designs that will be developed as prototypes by Thai industry and craft and exhibited at TIFF 2012% |/ _: [9 P7 H
there is the opportunity for finalist / shortlisted designs to be developed into real products.
( O( v1 u8 t- Y9 s0 `in the event that the producers who DEP transfers the right exercises the option for production
on
& m/ D: ^7 ^/ qon an exclusive basis and sine die (without time limitations),

04 - design criteria

10 - intellectual property rights
3 G1 |# A V- r- jany moral and paternity right regarding the project sent in for submission is the designer’s property., Q3 V7 y7 w/ ^1 y
however,
( D4 Z) X n; q0 }by submitting a design in the competition, the participant agrees to provide DEP and co organizers of TIFF with % g8 T6 x7 d! [5 e" J6 J9 V# L
the right of first refusal to the exclusive use of the design. this option is valid for 12 months after the end of the competition. $ F5 j/ q9 V2 Z0 Z) m. a8 n
n the event that the producers who DEP transfers the right exercises the option for production

on an exclusive basis and sine die (without time limitations),

by participating in the competition, all participants authorize DESIGNBOOM and DEP
 to publish and exhibit

in any publications communications or promotions that DESIGNBOOM and DEP may deem suitable and/or necessary. 

! }$ d7 f! g, m# ~in any cases, each time the creation is used, they must refer to the competition they originate from. 

' q8 q( r! {4 ^8 {DESIGNBOOM and DEP will credit the designer's name to properly attribute authorship of work to promote the author adequately.

– e.g. add the DEP and TIFF logo and text, reframing, translation, changing colors, cutting the background or parts of it, etc…
