will be granted with cash prize awards of $ 3,500 USD each.& U+ x1 Q! t% w& P+ a
the jury will select about 30 designs that will be developed as prototypes by Thai industry and craft and exhibited at TIFF 2012
. V# L% ^% o7 ^5 Fthere is the opportunity for finalist / shortlisted designs to be developed into real products.8 N! J7 O) A: V- F( t
in the event that the producers who DEP transfers the right exercises the option for production

on an exclusive basis and sine die (without time limitations), ; k$ t8 w* h; M9 c2 E

10 - intellectual property rights
' E2 M: j) c3 y, f% f! h( K' Tany moral and paternity right regarding the project sent in for submission is the designer’s property.

by submitting a design in the competition, the participant agrees to provide DEP and co organizers of TIFF with , U! m* V; {# i( ^" i2 R( A& q
the right of first refusal to the exclusive use of the design. this option is valid for 12 months after the end of the competition. ( u/ x; H7 N; O/ Y2 k
n the event that the producers who DEP transfers the right exercises the option for production

all the designs (including project data submitted) – waiving compensation – at exhibitions and events and/or to use them

in any cases, each time the creation is used, they must refer to the competition they originate from. 

9 T) h: p, N0 f9 y( H9 }: V" _DESIGNBOOM and DEP will credit the designer's name to properly attribute authorship of work to promote the author adequately.
& C7 `1 W+ W) z+ m! r# XDEP will have the right to apply minor change amendments without damaging the integrity of the artwork
5 n' K1 b" x" S$ z! K– e.g. add the DEP and TIFF logo and text, reframing, translation, changing colors, cutting the background or parts of it, etc…
